Plan my Visit in April!

Hello,
I`m from Germany and I count the days to my Trip to PortAventura!
Ive no idea of the Spanish people, so I want to have some answers, please!
I had the Idea, that I go an Eastern (Sunday,Monday), are the Spanish very religious? In Germany they dont wont to go in a Themepark on a festival. I think your country is very catholic. Is the date okay?
Ive time from the 1. April to the 11.April and I wont to stay 2 days. Which days are the best?
I think evrebody wont to see "el templo del fuego"! When does the Show begin in this year?

Hello!Here in Spain a lot of people take hollidays on Easter so it won´t be wrong to go to Port Aventura, there will be many people .I think that the best days to go will be 4, 5 and 6, the park will close at 20:00 and I guess that "el Templo del fuego" will be opened .I hope you enjoy your visit to Spain!!! :paz:

Okay, thanks for your comment! Maybe the Friday isnt a good day too, cause its the day when Jesus were killed (I dont know the english word, we call it in Germany "Karfreitag")
Have anybody else ore you one idea of the waiting times? Is there Holiday is Spain or just in Eastern?
When the last Website of PA was online, then stands by Templo del Fuego "Opening in 8th of April", maybe it was the date of the last year but know I dont know when the show begins. Ive no official statement
I know it heard strange, but can anybody call the portaventura Hotline for me and ask for the Opening of the Show? My speaken English is not so good and I think it will be very difficult to get some informations there.

I guess that overall, we are not so catholic here, Easter week seems to be more religious for the south of spain (Andalucía). I think these days people will take it as normal holidays. So, maybe some of them will make some trips (and PortAventura may be one of their targets).

For holidays - summer vacation / high attendance, sometimes is better to go weekends, but only for summer. Usually, the wednesday is one of the weakest days for the week. Maybe some other people here could help you at this point better than I.

We don't have yet any info of Templo del Fuego ride, but maybe it could be open only during peak season, I think we should wait for a while to know.

About the park attendance, I can't tell too much, just I expect the park have more guests, but not to be full. If you want to ride Shambhala, I would recomend you to wait at least for mid june to be sure the ride is open (expected opening for may/june)

You can contact the park calling 00 34 977 90 90. (german number, maybe they spek german here) or 00 34 902 20 22 20 (spanish number). You can attempt to contact filling this form http://www.portaventura.de/kontakte , but I would recommend you calling by phone instead, as they can take too many days to answer a mail.

From our work calendar, we have holiday thursday 5 and friday 6, while in cataluña (region where PortAventura is located) they have holiday the friday 6 and monday 9. Some people may pick additional holidays from 2~4 April (but I guess less people).

So, with this info, maybe a good idea would be from 2-3 monday to wednesday, or maybe 10-11 (tuesday-wednesday), don't know. Be aware that school calendar have the whole week holiday, from 2 to 9.

Hi!

In recent years, the Templo del Fuego is open from 1st May.

I think that the busiest days at PortAventura, on Easter, are the Friday, Saturday and Sunday (9th, 10th, 11th April).

You think the Monday isnt so full of people? I cant take the wednesday because, I fly there in noon back to germany. So, 2 days before Eastern or the Monday and one day without holidays. Yes, I take the Express Ticket in Monday and I think the Tuesday would be low. Would the waterrides be open? I heard in the Spring or Autum, there closed. How many costs the Express Pass und the Parking Ticket? there no Informations in the Internet!
