La nueva obra maestra de George Cloney ha sido una de las sorpresas del dÃa con sus seis nominaciones, en las que están a la mejor pelÃcula, director actor o guión y ya por debajo Munich compitiendo con cinco nominaciones con entre otras mejor pelÃcula y director. Otra de las que ya se sabÃa que estarÃa en las nominadas es Capote, la biografÃa del escritor que barrerá con sus cinco nominaciones destacando en actriz de reparto para la Kenner y actor protagonista para Philip Seymour Hoffman. Tambien walk the line ha sorprendido con cinco candidaturas, incluyendo mejor actor para Joaquin Phoenix y Resse Witherspoon (primeras candidaturas principales paral os jóvenes) y para acabar con las vencedoras nombramos a la sospresa del año con el jardinero fiel, opta a cuatro nominaciones incluyendo mejor actriz de reparto para rachel Weiz y mejor BSO para el Español Alberto Iglesias.
Por el otro lado entre las derrotadas en la carrera a los oscars se quedan la sobrevalorada Orgullo y Prejuicio con cuatro nominaciones incluyendo mejor actriz protagonista para la jovencÃsima y vista en El rey Arturo, Piratas del Caribe y Love Actually Keyra Kingsley. Con tres técnicas se ha quedado las crónicas de Narnia, el león y la bruja salen del armario (todas técnicas) y tambien la guerra de los mundos. Cinderella Man (el bodrio de Ron Howrad) tambien se ha contentado con tres nominaciones. Transamérica, Syriana (con Cloney como protagonista), una historia de violencia y noth country entre otras se quedan con solo dos nominaciones y otras producciones como La novia cadavez, Batman Begins o Cherlie y la fábrica de chocolate se han quedado con una nominación en apartados técnicos.
